I think I need an upgrade. This life is slow to connect, takes forever to load and start working, and periodically the screen blanks and nothing works at all.

The seamless upgrade to Windows 10 left me without a printer, a browser, and a working mouse. I have fixed the browser by downgrading to an older version of Chrome, fixed the mouse by ( Read more... )

 Still writing. Data recovered. Sisters up to fourteen parts, one left to write. Work disaster somewhat averted, although unpleasantness awaits. Computer goes for repair when I get back. Having good holiday tho still family stuff to deal with. Hope your Thanksgiving has been laid back and flavorful.

 Computer is broken.

R is going to operate and retrieve my data Wednesday when next we meet.

Then it goes away, to be fixed or repaired. Thank God for the extended warranty, and R for insisting on it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a free email client. Yes I have Gmail...three, no four, accounts actually, but I like having my mail downloaded and archived locally for at least two of them.
